Alright, hi guys! I’m just making a more or less short post (I have no idea how long it’s gonna be, but shouldn’t be too much I hope) to say some stuff you may be interested in or not, mainly about my art.

First, I want to thank all of you people who have been following me, some from the beginning who are still there, and I’m really grateful! Some other that I have always admired, them allowing to display my stuff on their dash was a huge honor for me, I already said that for this tumblr’s anniversary but I want to say it again, I can’t express how happy I was when some of my favorite blogs started following me. I had no idea how to thank him, and never dared doing it, but of all my notifications, the one announcing doctor colgate started following me was my most precious one. In addition to probably being one of my favorite blogs and artists, that’s by attending and watching this blog’s streams with attention that I’ve been able to start drawing on SAI with a tablet rather easily and quickly enough.

Okay, I took this occasion to thank someone I always wanted to, but this first paragraph was not the goal of this post ^^ The persons I also want to thank, are you guys that are actually reading and paying attention to this out of context mod post most people wouldn’t be interested in. And this is to you guys that are caring enough to read this that I want to talk to and send this message to :p Feeling generous lately and wanting to practice at art, I am willing to accept a colored sketch request from you. Please keep reading before jumping on the ask button if you’re interested!

I’m just gonna ask for you to follow these instructions please, I’m sure that’s not much at all ^^’ : basically, come to me to ask for your request with a picture in mind you’d like me to draw. I understand some of you like getting their characters drawn by some people, but I just don’t want to have to make the effort of imagination. Even if everyone can ask for something, I’m willing to do this mainly for people who would like to see a picture they have got in mind several times but can’t draw it themselves. Just look at it as a free commission, please give as many details as you can, or the least you would give to someone you want to commission. Please include as many refs as possible! It is possible I contact you to ask for an email address to communicate, because only being able to send one short message and one picture at a time via tumblr can be annoying. It can be sfw or not, pony or human, but that’s not all I want to say.

I said that I wanted to practice at art, please remember that! Keep in mind that I’m still an amateur at art and that I need to practice a lot at things people might ask for that I’m not used to draw. That’s why I’m asking for the requests you might have, that’s why I will keep some pictures sketchy, and that’s why I’m warning you that if you ask for something difficult, please don’t be mad if it doesn’t end like you expected it to! Ponies or humans should be fine, but another kind of creature or humanoid looking shape would not end exactly like I wanted it to or like you expected it to. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation, I want to make some people happy by doing this but I also want to improve a lot :p Last thing but not the least, keep also in mind that it can take time, I am lazy, I have two blogs to take care of, I work during the day, and also spend time for myself, not always drawing, so please be nice if it takes some time, I already have a few requests in line I have already taken, if you want I can tell you how many requests I still have before coming to yours when you ask for it.

Also, if you noticed, the “antenna” on Dragonite are black now because I’m just going to roll with that kind of style for now… it’s a pain drawing those things with somewhat thick ink, and expecting them to have noticeable outlines. xD

Just wait until the day I end up liking the antenna things like this…. and keep them that way regardless of the chances to use thinner outlines. e3e ))

I also made a green veggie sauce… my mom’s birthday was on the 17th of March, so it fit with the theme of the holiday on that same day. :3 It was something I made up at the top of my mind while doing some research on recipes, as I was planning ahead to make a special birthday dinner for her.

Anyways, I’m also trying out this different coloring style where I could keep my sketched outlines (if it wasn’t noticable-cough-).

Certainly kills the many hours needed to wait for the inked outlines to dry before I scan everything… This could be a faster process, but I’m curious what you guys think of this technique… thing. o^o ))

((We don’t have many informations from the show about how well unicorns can play with the weather yet. I was surprised that they cannot walk on them but that Rarity’s magic can still move clouds. So my opinion is that if unicorns could control clouds as well as pegasi, that would screw up the role and talent of pegasi a little, so I guess they can’t really control the weather properties of clouds…))

Hey everyone. The tumblr dashboard is pretty narrow, which is especially annoying when you have a high-resolution widescreen. I created an userscript to fix this problem.

It tries to make the best use of horizontal space it can, displaying more content at a time and making you scroll less. It doesn’t alway look very pretty (this is not a bug!), but it does its job.

I recommend a browser window with at least 1500 pixels width. If you have less, you can try zooming (ctrl+mousewheel). Works on both Firefox and Chrome, other browsers may work but are untested.
